Staff Accountant

Extension is seeking a Senior Accountant for a Direct Hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Milwaukee, WI.

What You’ll Impact at Our Client
As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ownership of the month end financial close process according to established timelines. The position oversees preparation of and /or recording of daily journal entries related to all areas of the general ledger, maintenance and oversight of daily cash applications and reconciliation of account balances and bank statements. The Senior Accountant will report to the Corporate Controller.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience preferably in public or retail industry
• Bachelors in Accounting
• Worked in ERP software, Excel; pivot tables, v-lookups
