Automation Engineer

Extension is seeking an Automation Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Waukesha, WI.

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities

• Write robot code and create robot simulations
• Work as part of the project team to install, debug, and troubleshoot industrial robots
• Train employees and repair product failures
• Order and replace parts as needed
• Perform site installations and start-ups

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 1 year of experience (will look at internships as well)
• PLC, HMI experience a plus
• Up to 25% travel required

Salary Information

• $75,000 - $82,000 DOE
