Extension is seeking a MECHANICAL ENGINEER for a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with one of our clients located in MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN.

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities
  • Develops the structural design of products using drafting tools and CAD
  • Research, design, evaluate, install, operate and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet the requirements of custom orders
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to get the job done
  • Develop test models and test alternate designs
  • Develop, coordinate and monitor all aspects of production, including the selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication or operation of product design
Desired Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of an Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
  • 5-7+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer
  • Experience as an integrator
  • Experience with building/working with custom machines
Salary Information
  • $95,000 - $120,000 DOE
